FR Chers journalistes, L'Atelier 34zero Muzeum propose le deuxième volet de son exposition thématique autour du cochon dans l’art moderne et contemporain. Dans l’art moderne, il personnifie la saleté, la gloutonnerie, la luxure et la colère et est souvent utilisé à des fins satiriques. Dans l'art contemporain, le cochon est un miroir tendu à la société pour lui révéler les divers phénomènes pathologiques qui sont à l’œuvre et joue souvent le rôle des êtres humains. C’est pourquoi, le cochon n’est jamais à prendre à la légère. Dans le cadre de cette exposition, nous vous invitons chaleureusement à participer à la conférence de presse qui se tiendra le mardi 14 novembre 2017 à 11h. Vous pourrez découvrir, à cette occasion, à la fois dans notre parc culturel et à l’intérieur de nos bâtiments dans la grande salle, les œuvres de Félicien Rops (BE), Atelier les deux garçons (NL), Xu Bing (CHN), Andy Feehan (US), Sarah Garzoni (FR), Arti Grabowski (PL), Sarah Maple (UK), Kira O’Reilly (IE), Yvonne Salzmann (DE), Stenzel & Kivits (NL), Heidi Taillefer (CA), Chen Wenling (CHN) et Liu Xue (CHN). Pour les enfants : le 18 novembre 2017, lors du vernissage, Anaïs Fulgeras organisera un atelier « Les 3 petits cochons » à 14h. L’artiste propose une lecture du conte et sa réinterprétation par les enfants à travers des marionnettes et la construction des maisons des 3 petits cochons. NL Beste journalisten, Het Atelier 34zero Muzeum stelt de tweede deel voor van zijn thematische tentoonstelling rond varkens in de moderne en hedendaagse kunst. In de moderne kunst, verpersoonlijkt het, het vuil, de gulzigheid, de lust en de woede. Vaak wordt het gebruikt voor satirische doeleinden. In de hedendaagse kunst is het varken een spiegel die voor de samenleving wordt gehouden om de verschillende pathologische verschijnselen die bestaan, te onthullen. Vaak speelt het de rol van de mens. Daarom moet het varken nooit lichtzinnig genomen worden. In het kader van deze tentoonstelling nodigen wij u hartelijk uit om de persconferentie bij te wonen die op dinsdag 14 november 2017 om 11 uur plaatsvindt. U zult, bij deze gelegenheid de werken van Félicien Rops (BE), Atelier les deux garçons (NL), Xu Bing (CHN), Andy Feehan (US), Sarah Garzoni (FR), Arti Grabowski (PL), Sarah Maple (UK), Kira O’Reilly (IE), Yvonne Salzmann (DE), Stenzel & Kivits (NL), Heidi Taillefer (CA), Chen Wenling (CHN) en Liu Xue (CHN) kunnen ontdekken. Voor de kinderen : Anaïs Fulgeras organiseert op zaterdag 18 november 2017 om 14u (tijdens het vernissage) het atelier « Les 3 petits cochons ». Het bekende verhaal wordt voorgelezen, visueel ondersteund door een marionettenspel en door samen met de kinderen de huisjes van de drie biggetjes te bouwen. EN Dear journalists, The Atelier 34zero Muzeum proposes the second edition of its thematic exhibition around pigs in modern and contemporary art. In modern art, it personifies dirt, gluttony, lust and anger and is often used for satirical purposes. In contemporary art, the pig is a mirror held before society to reveal the various pathological phenomena that are existing and it often plays the role of human beings. That's why, the pig is never to be taken lightly. On the occasion of this exhibition, we cordially invite you to participate in the press conference taking place on Tuesday, the 14th of November 2017 at 11am. You will discover the works of Félicien Rops (BE), Atelier les deux garçons (NL), Xu Bing (CHN), Andy Feehan (US), Sarah Garzoni (FR), Arti Grabowski (PL), Sarah Maple (UK), Kira O’Reilly (IE), Yvonne Salzmann (DE), Stenzel & Kivits (NL), Heidi Taillefer (CA), Chen Wenling (CHN) and Liu Xue (CHN). For the children : on the opening day the 18th of November, at 2pm, Anaïs Fulgeras will organize a workshop « Les 3 petits cochons ».
