For this June's edition of Cuisine du Monde, we invite you to discover Ukrainian cuisine, and more specifically its 2 emblematic dishes: "Borscht" and "Deruny".
In the spotlight is Sofia Rufa, a Ukrainian refugee from Odessa who has worked as a chef.
Ukrainian "borscht" is prepared on a base of chicken broth and features carrots, onions, tomatoes, parsley, garlic, kidney beans and, of course, beet. Accompanied by potatoes, it is served with "Pampouchqui" - a garlic and herb bread roll.
"Deruny" consists of finely grated potatoes, finely grated onions, egg and flour, crème fraîche, garlic and pepper. Shaped into delicious pan-fried potato pancakes, they are served with mushroom sauce or a little sour cream.
We offer service from 12pm, all day and into the evening.
Dinner is priced at €22. You can, of course, wash it down with a small vodka or beer.
We look forward to seeing you on June 25 at Atelier 34zero Muzeum.
